Welcome Friend, I am happy you're here!
I'm Cassie - a lover of light, love and laughs, and of course my dogs & dirt bike. Although, I will not lie, I am one for tears. Whether happy or sad. I believe one of the best feelings is laughing so dang hard you cry. But, I also believe we cry when experiencing big changes or loss only because we loved and felt so deeply, and oh, what a privilege that is. Capturing any and all the real, raw moments for people is what makes me feel most fulfilled within my work.

Born in a Small town in Mass. Transplanted in Colorado.
I moved to Dillon, CO after finishing my photography degree in Boston, MA. I now live in the small town of Kremmling, CO, serving both Summit and Grand counties, but I'm always down for a road trip too! Since moving here, I've been photographing my beautiful surroundings and the amazing people in them and I plan to for years to come.
While I love, love, love to travel, small towns will always have my heart. I find much joy in being outdoors with my dogs, in the middle of nowhere and no other soul in sight.

My approach to photo sessions.
The key for me is being personable, patient, and laid back. I want you and your loved ones to feel relaxed and have a good time, while I capture all the love, laughs and even maybe the tears, you experience together. I want you to remember everyone just as you really are in that moment in time. With this approach I believe it encourages people to really open up and enjoy our session together. It will be fun!

Falling in love with photography.
I was always one for looking at old photographs my mom had stored in large bins in the attic. I've always found it captivating that you can learn so much about one person, some you've never even met, just from a single photograph.
I find it mesmerizing that long after someone is gone, you can still look at a photograph of them and have so many memories come rushing back. I've lost people I loved deeply in this life & their photographs will always help me remember.
Photos really are worth a 1,000+ words.
This is why I find photography to be so important.
Life happens so. dang. fast.
So when someone invites me into their life to capture such moments,
I find it to be quite the privilege.
